Envisioning & Creating Dimensions; Nurturing Self Sufficiency

New Rays of Hope

New Rays of Hope

What does one do without eyes to see the World  and manouvre its daily twists  and curves? Precious little one would say. Add to that another debility of useless legs and one would think this World is not a place worth living. But, life is full of surprises and one comes across a spirited family of a single mother Kamlesh and her two children Tanushree, 14 and Aryan 10 years. Kamlesh works in a School in Noida, aptly named Saksham as it caters to differently abled children.
Both her children go to this same school as both are debilitated. Tanushree’s vision is impaired and the double whammy is her inability to walk as she has useless legs which broke one by one. She was given a wheelchair by Bringing Smiles which has helped scores of disabled persons get some semblance of security and  self-respect as it enables them move independently and without physical and mental dependence on others.
Aryan is a cheerful little boy, now in class three, and hopes to become a School Teacher himself someday, notwithstanding his vision impairment. He was provided with a cell phone by Bringing Smiles. He is sure to use the instrument to develop himself and understand the tools on it for best options in a complicated World.
Both the children were neatly dressed and well mannered. Both were wearing masks and were aware of the surroundings. They graciously accepted school bags, pencil boxes and tiffin boxes as their School going kits as well as indoor games to keep them occupied. Bringing Smiles has pledged to sponsor these children for higher studies or summer vacation in the residential campus of NABL
Kamlesh is an exemplary mother who not only works in Saksham but also lovingly cares for both her handicapped children alone and fearlessly. She was helped with Rations, clothes, an Umbrella, and  blankets to tide her over.
Today July 3rd 2020 , we also supported Ravi Kumar from Rajasthan who earlier got a tricycle from us by providing him rations in this tough period.
At Bringing Smiles , we do hope their smiles will be with them forever! We thank those who support us, to support them, and be the rays of hope for many!!
