Bringing Smiles

Envisioning & Creating Dimensions; Nurturing Self Sufficiency

Message from Our Volunteer

The Journey Continues.

With the blessings of our contributors and well-wishers, we continue to provide handicapped persons in and around Gurugram, means to help them earn a livelihood and be independent.
The last few months have been trying for all but more so for these handicapped people who could not even fend for themselves unlike the abled. We had to wait during the Lockdown period to assist some of them.
Today June 25th 2020 was a new day for Bhairu Lal Kalbelia , a disabled young person of 32 years, afflicted by polio. He hails from Rajasthan and was usually found neat the upmarket Galleria Market. He was leading a hopeless life at the mercy of those who could give him some paltry amounts. Bringing Smiles met him yesterday and seeing his deep desire to be independent, we handed him a   TRICYCLE with GI Box. Along with that he was given new crutches as his old ones had almost given way, With this Bhairu Lal will be able to travel as well as earn an honest living, which he so desired. Bhairu Lal also has a wife and two children and they were given clothes, blankets and an Umbrella.

We trust this will be a life changer for Bhairu and his family.

Two days back we filled his box with Chocolate, Eclairs, Alpenliebe, Rusks, Biscuits, Chips, Namkin pouches etc, which will help him augmenting his financial resources, to be ploughed back into his entrepreneurship.

It was a happy day for another disabled person Mrs. Panbai , afflicted by polio since the last 35 years. She too received a TRICYCLE, three sets of clothes, blankets and an umbrella. The bright yellow colour of the tricycle brought sunshine to the lady who drove it off happily to start a new life.

Bringing Smiles continues on its journey to bring lasting smiles on the faces of those who are poor and disabled, but who are willing to take life head on with a little bit of help and support to start them off.
